Al Masar Agency celebrated the graduation of six new trainees from the College of Information at King Abdul Aziz University at the end of the practical training program held at the company’s headquarters in Jeddah for three months.
Mr. Wael Kordi, General Manager of Al Masar Agency, said: “The practical training program of the company comes within the framework of cooperation with the Saudi universities for the fourth year in a row to meet the practical training aspect of graduates of information departments in universities.
Al-Kordi pointed out that this training program contributed to the development of the performance of students after their knowledge and practical practice of many skills of media work and journalist.
Al-Masar’s training program includes a variety of media skills, including news processing templates, the structure of the press report and its essential elements, investigative and press preparation steps, training on media monitoring, electronic archiving and documenting of information through modern systems.
It should be noted that Al Masar Agency organized more than 20 training courses during the period from 2009 to 2017, in which more than 2000 young people were trained in various media skills, including journalism, television and the Internet, in addition to the media administration.
